Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, guest satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards. The role includes food production, staff management, cost control, and menu development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and food quality.
- Ensure timely, high-quality food delivery and maintain safety standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs.
- Train and lead kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to kitchen protocols.
- Collaborate on menu creation and handle guest queries.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Support team recruitment and performance management.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Culinary qualifications and strong knowledge of food safety.
- Excellent leadership and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team.
- Strong communication skills and passion for food.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-end or fine dining kitchens.
- Familiarity with budget management and food cost control.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
