Chef de Partie – Five-Star Hotel

Job Description:

A prestigious hotel in Doha is seeking a highly skilled and professional Chef de Partie to join their culinary team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food preparation and service for both a la carte and buffet menus. Your ability to consistently uphold high standards, work well under pressure, and collaborate with team members will be vital to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues.
• Prepare all food items to the highest quality and in line with hotel recipes and standards.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions during daily shift briefings to enhance kitchen operations.
• Ensure kitchen colleagues are aware of all food standards and expectations.
• Collaborate with outlet chefs to maintain communication regarding guest feedback and menu execution.
• Continuously strive to improve food quality, presentation, and kitchen efficiency.
• Maintain product rotation in all storage areas to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Stay knowledgeable about all menu items, daily features, and special promotions.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Adhere to kitchen policies, safety standards, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a culinary position is required.
• Culinary certification or diploma is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Highly reliable, responsible, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with the ability to maintain a calm and courteous demeanor even during busy times.
